How do I choose the right type of extensions?

It comes down to how long you want to wear them and who puts them in.

  • Clip-ins: you put them in and take them out yourself, for a day, a night or an event.
  • Halo: one piece that sits on a clear wire. No clips, and the quickest to put on.
  • Tape-ins: semi-permanent, flat and light. Installed by a stylist.
  • Hand-tied wefts: semi-permanent rows that add volume. Installed by a stylist.
  • I-tips: semi-permanent, attached strand by strand. Installed by a stylist.

We recommend a licensed professional for every semi-permanent method. Need one? Use our Pro Stylist Locator.
